Board Game Brigade: From Novice to Expert!

This dynamic camp brings together board game enthusiasts of all levels, from beginners to seasoned players. Campers will be divided into groups based on their experience and comfort level, ensuring everyone is appropriately challenged and engaged.
Novice gamers and those new to modern board games will start with accessible titles that introduce core gaming concepts: Tsuro, Splendor, Carcassonne, SushiGo!, Kingdomino, Takenoko, Incan Gold.
More experienced gamers or quick learners will tackle more complex games with deeper strategies: Isle of Cats, Calico, Space Base, Cartographers, Wingspan, Quacks of Quedlinburg.
Throughout the camp, all participants will have opportunities to: Develop critical thinking skills, Enhance social interaction through gameplay, Learn about game mechanics and strategy, Participate in mixed-level activities and tournaments.
Campers may progress to more challenging games as they become comfortable, fostering a supportive environment where everyone can learn and grow at their own pace. This combined format allows for mentorship opportunities and creates a vibrant gaming community where all skill levels are celebrated. Our summer camps run from Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm. All of our camps feature small groups with limited enrollment and a focus on peer interaction and critical thinking. Lunch is included daily, and we have a family open house each Friday where your kids can teach you what they’ve played that week.
